Key Responsibilities and Tasks: o Unload, sort, verify, stock, segregate, pick, reserve, replenish, pack, count and load merchandise as designated on Member orders. Perform Supervisors duties in his or her absence. o Accurate and timely processing of reports and paperwork associated with the various procedures and duties. o Know, follow and perform to the maximum levels of quality and productivity standards. o Conduct physical inventories as required. o Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. o Ability to perform functions and duties under the direction of management or supervision. The Warehouse Leadperson is responsible for the accurate storing and receiving of merchandise and the counting, picking and loading of merchandise as designated on Member orders in, within, on the grounds of, or out of the distribution center.
• Leads the work activities of team members to manage workflow within the department. • Assists the Supervisor in coordinating workflow with other members of the RDC leadership team. • Assists the Supervisor in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of work completion to ensure a high level of Member service. • Works directly with associates to establish and foster a strong working relationship related to warehouse functions. • Clarifies operating policies, procedures, and safety requirements to team members. • Assists supervisor with conducting employee training and defining job requirements... • Fosters an atmosphere of high employee morale through an active, fair, and consistent implementation of policy and procedures. • Performs job duties in accordance with the Company’s production and quality standards. • Supervises team members in the Supervisor’s absence. • Performs job duties for a different section of the RDC or shift if operational requirements necessitate. • Other duties as assigned
• One to three years of warehouse experience • One or more years of experience demonstrating successful leadership in a comparable environment • Ability to communicate effectively with associates, vendors, and/or members • Ability to make decisions in accordance with operating policies and practices • Ability to work any shift.
